today i am headed over to LA tech [in morgan city] with marc to attend some of his classes and see if i'm interested in possibly getting into the school and becoming an electrician.

if i do choose this path in my life, my father has told me he will support me financially, at least as far as school goes. from here i could go on to do a pretty innumerate amount of things, but the prime objective at the moment is to work as an ROV pilot for oceaneering. from here anything is possible, really.

patience is something that i have never been a fan of, but more and more i find myself being forced to have patience and understanding to accomplish things. i don't want to be a billionaire. i could care less about money, material goods, and many other things that your average american values so dearly. i just want comfort. the comfort to go home to my apartment, kick off my shoes, lounge out on my couch and just browse the net for a while. maybe read a nice book, or research some crazy conspiracy that i'm interested in.

everything that i live for now is for a future that i pray i am able to enjoy.

well, class time. i'll talk to you again soon, LJ.

School is always a good idea. Especially if you have the means to do it. If your father is going to take care of it and is able to, then definitely do it. Even if you never directly use that degree or end up in a completely unrelated field, it will still look more impressive that you have had some amount of continued education.

Besides, school is fun.

very true. whether or not i use this as my career at all, i don't see anything wrong with knowing how to fix electronic problems. after i'm done with this, i'll never have to worry about anything malfuntioning electronically. broken really just means "need to be fixed". :PPP

electrician work is some serious shit, trust me, i dabbled in that shit enough. It sounds fun and all but there is way more work envolved than i thought. But of course, i worked for a complete dickhole. Well, regardless, i wish you the best of luck dude.
